Corvet Construction (1977) Ltd is a privately owned corporation founded in 1969 and incorporated in 1977 with an office in the town of Throne - half way between Coronation and Veteran.  Corvet started out as an oil, gas and waterflood production contractor. At its peak, Corvet Oilfield services operated over 400 oil, gas and injection wells in Alberta and Saskatchewan with operating areas from Olds to Kindersley, Dodsland, and Smiley.

 

Prior to 1977, Corvet was engaged mainly as a roustabout company doing maintenance, pump jack set-up, oil battery construction and gas plant construction. In 1978 an expansion towards pipeline construction was undertaken and shortly thereafter a lease preparation and road building division was formed.   In the mid 1990’s Environmental Services were added to include remediation of contaminated soils and removal of leaking underground tanks.

 

In 1996 the head office was relocated to Red Deer Alberta.  A  20,000 sq ft office and shop was build on 10 acres of land south of the Centrium in the Petrolia Ind. park.  

 

TODAY :   Corvet Construction (1977) Ltd is a full service oilfield construction company providing pipeline and facility construction, lease and road preparation, environmental reclamation services and maintenance services.  The company has realized tremendous growth since 1979.  Corvet as a company has undertaken some large projects including work overseas in Barbados and has gained vast knowledge and respect in the industry.  We are very proud of our personnel and the experience they have brought with them to this company.
